Abstract

This paper develops a conceptual structure which emphasizes Sustainable Community Resilience (SCR) through Perceived ESG Performance (PESG), Perceived Corporate Community Benefit (PCCB), Community-Corporate Social Trust (CCST), and Community Digital Empowerment (CDE) in the context of growing expectations for global corporate responsibility. The literature currently in publication has a substantial theoretical gap since it ignores the connection between ESG and community-level results with trust-based mechanisms and digital factors. To address this gap, seven proposals are introduced, incorporating stakeholder theory, societal exchange theory, social capital theories, empowerment theory, and community resilience theory. The model identifies Community-Corporate Social Trust (CCST) as the central mediator and Community Digital Empowerment (CDE) as a moderator. This framework makes new academic contributions to community-based research in developing countries, particularly Climate-Vulnerable Communities and Transition Urban Communities context, and provides important practical guidance for policy-makers, corporate authorities, and community development organizations.
